Alsace & The Black Forest

This wonderful 6-day tour takes us through the gorgeous fields and vineyards of Alsace, calling at historic Riquewihr and Colmar. Benidorm Long Stay 2013

January in the UK is usually a month of leaden skies and bitter cold. Now imagine the alternative: a month in temperate Spain with the gentle waters of the Mediterranean on your doorstep and clear skies overhead.

Benidorm was still a sleepy fishing village in the 1950s. Half a century on and Spain’s most popular resort has grown into a lively destination that’s lost none of its original charm, with three spotless beaches, a vast choice of restaurants and bars, and a glittering skyline.

Castles of Bavaria

The verdant valleys, fairytale castles and rural villages of Bavaria seem untouched by time. Arguably Germany’s prettiest region, Bavaria also has a colourful history thanks to King Ludwig II, the eccentric monarch who we can thank for the area’s fabulous castles.
