Oxford (full day)
We travel to Oxford, known as the city of Dreaming Spires. Famous for its university colleges and magnificent architecture, the city’s charming scenery has been caught on camera numerous times, including the popular Inspector Morse TV series. The city also has plenty of shopping opportunities as well as quaint cafés and tearooms. There’s the chance to join an optional guided walking tour (£10pp) to see Oxford’s highlights and Inspector Morse filming locations.

Midsomer Murders Locations Tour (full day)
On this full day tour we pass through some of the prettiest villages in England that make up the area of Midsomer. These include Wallingford (the original Causton), Dorchester (one of the most used Midsomer locations) and Thame where we have time for morning coffee (not included). Next is Long Crendon, before we pass through some more Midsomer villages en-route to Bledlow. We also include Chinnor and Watlington before stopping in Henley-on-Thames. There will be a short walk of the filming locations around the town, before free time for lunch (not included).

After lunch, we make for Beaconsfield, home to the Midsomer police station and Downton Abbey locations before travelling along one of the most beautiful sections of the Thames to the village of Bray where it is dangerous to be a bell ringer. The final stop is at Littlewick Green where it is not advised to play in the local cricket team.

Kew to Westminster River Cruise & London (full day)
This morning we embark on a scenic river cruise from Kew Gardens to Westminster. Among the many sights and landmarks along our route are the Royal Hospital Chelsea, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and home to the Chelsea pensioners; Battersea Power Station and Lambeth Palace, the London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury since the 13th century. Our cruise finishes beside Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament in the heart of London where we disembark to enjoy some free time in the capital.
