Miralago Hotel

We’ll stay at the Miralago Hotel in the centre of Molveno near to the Molveno Lake and looking out towards the Brenta Dolomite Mountains. Facilities include a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool and wellness centre. The comfortable rooms have an en-suite bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi.

Day 1
Ferry to Calais and overnight stay in France.

Day 2
Continue to our hotel in Molveno.

Day 3 – Bolzano, Soprabolzano, Collalbo & Earth Pyramids  
Today we enjoy a guided walking tour of the Alpine town of Bolzano, the capital of Italy’s picturesque and mountainous region of South Tyrol. From here we take a cable car to Soprabolzano making our way up to an altitude of 1,221m – the perfect chance to soak up the views before we enjoy a nostalgic train ride to Collalbo. Take in the wide meadows and fields with views of mountain farms and glimpses of the beautiful Dolomites. On the way back to our hotel, our coach will stop so we can see the Earth Pyramids, a beautiful natural monument.

Day 4 – San Antonio, rack railway to Passo della Mendola & winery visit in Mezzocorona
This morning we enjoy a guided visit of San Antonio before taking the rack railway to Passo della Mendola, a 1,363 metre-high mountain pass where we can soak up more beautiful views of the Dolomites. Later we have a guided visit and wine tasting at a winery in Mezzocorona – the perfect way to relax and indulge.

Day 5 – Caldes Castle & Assessorile Palace
Today we catch the train from Mezzolombardo to Caldes, where we can take in the scenic views before we enjoy a guided tour of Caldes Castle. Work began on this castle in the 13th century and it is associated with many legends as well as a tragic love story. Next we visit Assessorile Palace in Cles where our guided tour will tell us more about the history of this Palazzo.

Day 6 – Lake Garda, Trento & Buonconsiglio Castle
Our day begins with a scenic tour of Lake Garda, one of Italy’s most spectacular lakes. This afternoon we visit the town of Trento where we enjoy a guided tour and include a visit to the Buonconsiglio Castle which is the most important monumental complex of the Trentino Alto Adige region.

Day 7 – Day at leisure

Day 8 – Lake Iseo & Monte Isola
Today we take the train from Brescia to Lake Iseo, where we’ll enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the lake while taking in the beautiful scenery. We’ll also enjoy some free time on the picturesque island, Monte Isola.

Day 9
Travel to our overnight hotel in France, with a light evening meal included. 

Day 10
Continue to Calais for our return ferry home.
