Coronation Street – Walk the Cobbles & Liverpool

Calling all Coronation Street fans! You may have been lucky enough to have walked the cobbles of the original Coronation Street set, where over 50 years of TV history were made, before it closed for good. The show moved to its new home in MediaCityUK on Salford Quays, Manchester in 2014, where the terraced street was painstakingly recreated (albeit with several subtle tweaks to accommodate the demands of high definition TV)! Britain’s most famous street has opened the doors to its new home, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a fully guided tour of the outdoor sets, including a walk down the cobbles, past landmarks such as the Rovers Return. Don’t miss out on your chance to visit this iconic set!

Experience The Coronation Street Tour With A Short Stop In Liverpool

Day 1:
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to Manchester and Coronation Street’s home in MediaCityUK on Salford Quays. We enjoy a guided tour of the external sets (lasting approximately 90 minutes), taking in Coronation Street (walking down the cobbles, past iconic landmarks such as the Rovers Return and The Kabin), Rosamund Street and the newly extended Victoria Street. Listen to stories from yesteryear, hear filming secrets, take a selfie on the street and walk in the footsteps of your favourite characters. Later we check-in to our hotel for a late dinner and our overnight stay.

Day 2:
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head to Liverpool for some free time to explore at leisure. A vibrant city, Liverpool has plenty to see, from the Liver Building to the famous Cavern Club, or a visit to the rejuvenated Albert Dock. We rejoin the coach in the afternoon for the journey home.
