We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel conveniently located for our excursions. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Day 1:
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner and the first of two nights’ stay.

Day 2:
Following breakfast at the hotel, we head to Swanage where we board our train behind the magnificent locomotive Flying Scotsman to enjoy a scenic and memorable 12-mile round trip, steam hauled journey. Our trip to Norden and back takes us through beautiful scenery, passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.

Afterwards, we visit Poole, a bustling resort with a lively quayside, stunning natural harbour and some of the finest beaches in England. It also boasts two Victorian parks, one of which, Poole Park, is a designated Conservation Area and a historic Old Town which still shows evidence of its medieval past. Later, we return to the hotel where we enjoy dinner together.

Day 3:
After checking out of the hotel we board the coach and head for home, stopping en-route in Salisbury where we have a little free time. Don’t miss the city’s fine medieval cathedral, which boasts the tallest spire in Britain.
