After a morning pick up from your local area, we travel to our hotel to check in. From there, we continue on to Highclere Castle to enjoy this quintessentially British event. Combining stunning music with incredible sights, the Battle Proms kick starts with a breathtaking musical Spitfire display. The captivating classical music from a 60 piece orchestra continues into the evening and provides the soundtrack to the thrilling Napoleonic cavalry display, live fire from over 200 cannons, and a daring freefall display from The Red Devils, the British Army and Parachute Regiment’s official display team. The picnic concert closes with thetraditional sing-along, flag-waving proms finale, including favourites Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory, culminating in a dazzling firework spectacular, all within the stunning setting right in front of the castle! Afterwards, the coach takes us back to the hotel for our overnight stay.

Please note: Entrance to the castle is not included. There will be a hot food stall and bar selling a small selection of refreshments including tea/coffee, however it is recommended that you bring your own picnic. As there is no seating at this event, we recommend bringing your own fold up chair.

We check out of our hotel after breakfast and then depart for Royal Windsor. Situated on the River Thames, this ancient royal town has a rich heritage dating back over 1,000 years with many beautiful buildings and cobbled streets. We enjoy some free time here to explore at our leisure, before the return journey home in the mid-afternoon.
