Spectacular St Paul’s Cathedral & London

Step into an icon of British history and culture; St Paul’s Cathedral! Largely reconstructed after the Great Fire of London but having survived both suffragette bombings and war damage, its instantly recognisable dome has dominated the capital’s skyline for more than 300 years. It has provided a momentous backdrop to a number of significant events throughout the centuries, including Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer’s wedding, the funerals of Admiral Lord Nelson and Winston Churchill plus jubilee celebrations for both Queen Victoria and Elizabeth II. This is your chance to tread the path of royalty, see the final resting place of national heroes, discover the famous Whispering Gallery, explore fascinating artefacts and admire the architecture of this symbolic church.

Itinerary

Day 1

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to central London. Enjoy some time at leisure to see the sights or do some shopping before an afternoon admission to the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. Afterwards, the coach takes us to our hotel for our overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we head back into central London for more time to explore this vibrant city. Our coach departs for home in the mid-afternoon.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel outside London (JG3 or JG4 rating). The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Hotel accessibility information

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Helpful Information

Please note: we use central coach drop-off points for our London tours, so these breaks may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

You will have free time in London at leisure and must make your own way to the theatre and or attraction venue. The driver will hand out your tickets when you are dropped off and advise you of the pickup time in the evening.
