Legends of Liverpool & Historic Chester

This morning, we enjoy a guided coach tour of Liverpool, learning all there is to know about its history and, of course, its most famous sons, The Beatles.

We head to the delightful city of Chester, where the fascinating sights span the centuries. Wander through the streets of black and white timber-framed buildings and double-height shops or visit the remains of the city’s Roman Amphitheatre. As well as an abundance of historical attractions, Chester also has a thriving shopping centre with a host of cafés, restaurants and pubs to tempt you.

On our optional excursion, we head to the traditional Victorian seaside town of Southport. Known as England’s Classic Resort, it is home to the country’s second-longest and oldest pier and beautiful architecture, plus some lovely parks and gardens, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
