Itinerary

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to our hotel.

We head first to Cromer, a classic resort on the north Norfolk coast, famous for its tasty crabs, wide open beaches and traditional pier. Originally a small north Norfolk fishing village, our next stop of Sheringham is now a popular seaside town with a sandy beach, seafront promenade and a diverse range of shops. Don’t forget to have some classic fish and chips here!

Later on, we board our train on the heritage North Norfolk Railway (also known as the Poppy Line) for a spectacularly scenic journey from Sheringham to Holt, passing through a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Full Day

Explore the historic city of Norwich, home to a magnificent Norman cathedral with the largest cloisters and the second tallest spire in the country. Brimming with character, Norwich is often described as Britain’s most complete medieval city, its winding lanes lined with beautiful period buildings. Don’t miss the original Colman’s Mustard shop or the vibrant outdoor market – one of the largest in England.

Full Day

We experience a nostalgic trip on the heritage Bure Valley Railway, Norfolk’s longest narrow gauge railway, from Aylsham to Wroxham, meandering through the pretty Bure Valley countryside. After free time in Wroxham, with its pretty riverside walks and gentle waters, we travel by coach to the picturesque village of Horning. Here we embark on a memorable cruise along the Norfolk Broads on the Mississippi Paddle Steamer, passing lovely thatched cottages, windmills, ancient churches and reed beds while spotting some of the area’s unique wildlife along the way.

Full Day

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and board the coach for the journey home.
