Today we start the day with a trip to Land’s End, the breathtaking headland on the Penwith peninsula, located at the westernmost point of mainland Cornwall. Here, the rugged cliffs rise majestically above the Atlantic Ocean, offering visitors panoramic views that stretch to the horizon.
This iconic landmark is steeped in history and legend, with its name signifying the literal end of the land in Old English. It's a place where the beauty of nature is on full display, from the wildflowers decorating the coastal paths to the dramatic sunsets that paint the sky. It is a truly wonderful sight to behold and an unforgettable experience.
Afterwards, we head to one of the most famous towns in Cornwall. Penzance, nestled in a sheltered position in beautiful Mounts Bay. The town still holds all the charms of a bygone age, with an attractive seafront promenade, sub-tropical gardens and a stunning view of the castle at St Michael’s Mount.
