Itinerary

After a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to Blackpool, arriving in the mid-afternoon. We enjoy some free time in Blackpool before checking into our hotel.

We spend a full day at the Blackpool Air Show to enjoy breathtaking aerial displays from a variety of aircraft, with performances by the Red Arrows, Typhoon jets and vintage warplanes. There's also plenty to see on the ground! Wander the many stalls selling aviation memorabilia, interactive exhibits and food vendors for when you fancy a tasty bite to eat.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and spend some more free time in Blackpool, before heading home in the afternoon.

Accommodation

We stay at a selected hotel in Blackpool.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
