Our optional excursion takes us to Norfolk's only national park, a tranquil landscape of waterways, marshes, woodland and a variety of rare plants and animals such as the elusive swallowtail butterfly and the Norfolk hawker dragonfly. We travel to lovely Wroxham on the banks of the River Bure, known as ‘the capital of the Norfolk Broads’ and surrounded by lush greenery, with the peaceful sight of boats gliding along the riverside scenery complimenting the gentle pace of the region. Along the way, we also see Potter Heigham and Horning, a postcard-perfect embodiment of a waterside Norfolk village.
