Itinerary

We spend some time in pretty Exmouth. One of the oldest seaside towns in Devon, this coastal gem offers a lovely small harbour, two miles of sandy beach and is the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast with its dramatic cliffs and stunning views. Learn more at the interesting Exmouth Museum, or you may like to treat yourself to a leisurely boat trip along the scenic River Exe. Afterwards, we continue to Teignmouth, a handsome estuary town with a bustling harbour, elegant Georgian crescent, classic promenade and Victorian pier, offering fine views across the bay.

Our optional excursion takes us to Brixham, a lively and picturesque fishing port nestled along the English Riviera. Colourful cottages tumble down the hillside towards the harbour, where you’ll find a full-sized replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind. Enjoy time to explore the winding streets, browse independent shops and arcades or simply relax with a drink while watching the boats bob in the horseshoe bay. Brixham’s charm and maritime spirit make it a true coastal gem.
