Itinerary

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel to Ayr, a charming town on the southwest coast of Scotland known for its beautiful sandy beaches and historic landmarks. Later, we rejoin the coach and continue to our overnight hotel.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and make our way to Glasgow on the banks of the River Clyde. The lively and modern city is a cultural hot spot, boasting a wealth of art and culture and the best shopping outside of London, with everything to offer from high street stores and designer labels to speciality outlets for the more unique items. Enjoy the city’s impressive architecture including Glasgow Tower and The Science Centre, reflecting Glasgow’s cosmopolitan lifestyle perfectly. We rejoin the coach in the afternoon and continue our journey home.


Accommodation

Set in its own private grounds, the Adamton Country House Hotel, Prestwick is nestled within the beautiful countryside and offers a warm Scottish welcome. All meals are buffet style.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.
