Highlights

  • Return coach travel
  • 3 nights at a selected hotel in the Coventry area (JG2 rating) with dinner & breakfast
  • 2 for 1 bar (6pm-9pm) on selected drinks
  • Excursions to Stratford-upon-Avon & the Cotswolds (Stow-on-the-Wold & Broadway)

Itinerary

Our first excursion takes us to the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon, forever associated with William Shakespeare. Fans of The Bard can visit the house in which he was born, and there’s a chance to wander the riverside gardens or discover the town’s theatres including the Swan Theatre, home of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Some of the Cotswolds’ most beautiful towns and villages await. We head first to the beautiful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, renowned for its traditional stone buildings and wonderful collection of artisanal boutiques. Then we visit Broadway, which boasts a wide main street of picture-perfect cottages, pubs and shops selling local produce for you to browse and enjoy.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel in the Coventry area such as the Britannia Hotel or Royal Court Hotel. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant. All meals are buffet style.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.
