Itinerary

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to the hotel for dinner and our first evening.

After breakfast, we head to the first ever RHS Badminton Flower Show, set in the grounds of this picturesque estate. It's the perfect place to soak up advice from horticultural experts, admire the best in garden design and browse a range of beautiful flowers and gifts to take home. After a lovely day, we re-join the coach and return to the hotel for dinner and our second night's stay.

After checking out of the hotel, we head to beautiful Bath. The city has remained faithful to its Regency roots, with an abundance of elegant terraces, circuses and squares in a picturesque valley setting. The magnificent Royal Crescent is a must-see, while the centre is home to Bath Abbey, the ancient Roman Baths magnificent 18th-century Pump Room – perfect for a spot of afternoon tea. You can also expect a wide range of museums, including the Jane Austen Centre, as well as an excellent selection of shops; especially along the Pulteney Bridge, one of only four bridges in the world to feature shops across its full span on both sides. After time to explore, we re-join the coach in the afternoon for our journey home.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel (JG3 or JG4 rating). All rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.
