André Rieu - Live in his Hometown of Maastricht

We take the ferry to Calais and travel to our hotel, where we stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

Today, we enjoy a short excursion to a nearby place of interest, where there's time to explore and find lunch at your own leisure. Later, we return to our hotel with time to freshen up before we head to beautiful Maastricht, where we have free time to soak up the atmosphere and find dinner at leisure in one of the city's many cafés and restaurants.

This evening promises to be the highlight of our break as we make our way to Vrijthof Square for the spectacular open-air André Rieu concert. Joined by his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra, the King of Waltz performs a wonderful mix of beloved classics, stirring waltzes and musical surprises, made even more special in the setting of his hometown. Following the performance, we return to our hotel by coach.

Depending on the location of our hotel, today we enjoy an excursion to a nearby place of interest such as Aachen, Cologne, Brussels or another historic town or city in the region. There is free time to explore, browse the shops, enjoy the local atmosphere and perhaps sample some regional specialities before we return to the hotel.

After breakfast we check out of our hotel and head back to Calais for our return ferry home.
