Itinerary

We fly to Guernsey, where we are met on arrival and escorted to our coach for the short transfer to our hotel in Saints Bay.

Enjoy a day at your own pace in beautiful Guernsey. Take a leisurely stroll along the sandy shores of Saints Bay, explore the island’s scenic coastal paths or discover the local shops, cafés and historic sights at your own pace. You could visit Castle Cornet, enjoy views across the harbour or simply relax and take in the fresh sea air and peaceful island atmosphere. However you choose to spend your day, Guernsey offers the perfect chance to slow down and enjoy island life.

We enjoy a half-day tour of Guernsey where we take in the island’s pretty sights such as the famous Little Chapel, one of the smallest chapels in the world, which features in the novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. Our tour also takes in Guernsey’s beautiful Grandes Rocques and Pembroke Bay beaches, as well as the striking Pleinmont Point, a Second World War observation station that sits high atop a headland overlooking the coast.

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and transfer to Guernsey Port for our included ferry crossing to Jersey. The crossing takes around an hour, after which we transfer to our hotel. After check-in, we enjoy dinner at the Merton Hotel.

Discover the beauty of Jersey on a full-day tour taking in the island’s spectacular coastline, scenic bays and fascinating landmarks. We visit St Brelade’s Bay, one of Jersey’s most popular beaches, before following the rugged north coast with its sweeping views across the surrounding islands. See the iconic Corbière Lighthouse, explore the vast sands of St Ouen’s Bay, famed for its Atlantic waves and surfing, and admire the historic harbour of Gorey, overlooked by impressive Mont Orgueil Castle.

Enjoy a day to explore Jersey at your own pace. Take a stroll along the island’s sandy beaches, discover independent shops and cafés, or visit historic landmarks such as Mont Orgueil Castle. Follow scenic coastal paths, admire the views across the water or simply relax by the sea and enjoy the fresh island air. With so much to see and do, today is the perfect opportunity to experience Jersey your way.

We check out of our hotel and transfer to Jersey Airport for our return flight home.

Accommodation

The Saints Bay Hotel is situated on the south coast cliffs at Icart Point, an unspoilt headland on the most southerly tip of Guernsey. Named after the picturesque bay and the small fishermen's harbour at the foot of the cliffs below the hotel, it offers elegant en-suite rooms with tea and coffee-making facilities, TV and free Wi-Fi. Other facilities include an outdoor heated pool (seasonal), a restaurant, bar and poolside dining area. 
Delighting guests for over 100 years, the Merton Hotel offers a wonderful base on the island of Jersey, just a 10-minute walk from St Helier. The extensive resort boasts seven restaurants, cafés and bars, along with a fully equipped gym with complimentary group classes and a unique Aquadome with indoor and outdoor swimming pools plus a sauna, steam room and hot tub. The comfortable en-suite bedrooms feature satellite TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and free Wi-Fi.
