Ferry to Calais and on to our hotel.

Day 2 – Brussels Flower Carpet

Today we head to Brussels and the cobbled Grand-Place to see the magnificent Flower Carpet. Created by around 100 volunteer gardeners who set up this giant floral puzzle in less than eight hours, this unique event is a spectacular sight to behold. Afterwards, enjoy time at leisure in the city with the opportunity to find a place for dinner before the coach takes us back to our hotel.

Day 3 – Ghent & Bruges

This morning we head to the vibrant port city of Ghent. One of Belgium’s oldest cities, no other city in the country has as many classified buildings, so make sure to admire the medieval and classical architecture here.

Next we visit the lovely city of Bruges. Known as ‘the Venice of northern Europe’, Bruges is a beautifully-preserved medieval city of picturesque canals, impressive squares of pretty guild houses and narrow cobbled lanes crammed with fine chocolate shops, lace boutiques and souvenir shops. We enjoy time at leisure in Bruges, with the chance to find a place for dinner, before the coach takes us back to our hotel.

 Day 4

Travel back to Calais for our return ferry home, stopping en-route in Lille, France.
