Marilyn - The Exhibition & London

‘Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.’

Discover the woman behind Hollywood’s timeless stardom at Marilyn – The Exhibition at the Arches. The first of its kind in the UK and the largest curated collection of Marilyn’s possessions, this exhibition provides an intimate look at this Hollywood legend's life as we uncover infamous outfits, diaries, love letters and shoes!

Despite her glamorous public persona, the 1950s American actress, model and singer had a dramatic life both on and off screen, with many personal struggles. We learn more about the real Marilyn Monroe, her personal relationships and how her tenacity, charisma and comedic talents live on today, as she remains one of the world’s most enduring iconic figures.

The contemporary venue, the Arches, is complemented by a new bar, café and gift shop. We also enjoy free time in London on day two where you can explore this exciting city at your leisure.

Day 1
Marilyn ‐ The Exhibition

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel to London and are dropped off at a central point. We have free time before we make our way to the Marilyn Exhibition at The Arches. Afterwards, there is time to find somewhere for dinner (not included). The coach then takes us to our hotel to check in.

Day 2
London at Leisure

After breakfast, we head back to London for some free time to shop or see the sights. There is plenty to do from a trip on the London Eye to shopping on Oxford Street or a stroll through Hyde Park. We set off for home in the mid-afternoon.

Accommodation

JG3 or JG4 rating

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel outside London (JG3 or JG4 rating). The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
