A cluster of islands off the coast of Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly are a natural wonder, with unspoilt beaches, peaceful greenery, and an altogether slower pace of life. There is an abundance of stunning beaches, some with rugged coastlines and cliffs, perfect for walking and others secluded, with white sands, perfect for a moment of calm. We board the ferry as foot passengers in the morning, with the opportunity to spot marine life on our journey. Heading to the largest of the islands, St Mary’s, we have time to explore Hugh Town at leisure with its quaint shops, cafes, galleries, and lovely beaches, before catching our return ferry back to the mainland.
We recommend you are prepared for a full day with changeable weather conditions, please take appropriate footwear and clothing for this excursion. Please note that the coach does not travel to St Mary’s, your driver will drop off and pick up in Penzance, therefore we recommend a reasonable degree of mobility. This excursion is subject to operational and weather conditions and an alternative excursion to the Eden Project will be offered if the ferry cannot operate.
