Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Day 1

We make our way to the Warner Lakeside Coastal Village and check in. Later, we enjoy a fun-filled evening of fabulous live country music.

Day 2 – Winchester

Our first half-day excursion takes us to the historic city of Winchester, situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Winchester is England’s ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great while the city’s Great Hall is home to the legendary Arthurian Round Table. The cathedral is well worth a visit with its beautiful illuminated Winchester Bible, 12th-century wall paintings and medieval carvings. There are also bustling shopping streets plus bars and cafés to enjoy.

In the evening, get ready to don your Stetsons for more entertainment.

Day 3 – Optional excursion to Bognor Regis & Chichester (£13pp)

On our optional excursion we first visit the small coastal town of Bognor Regis where we can enjoy a walk along the promenade and all the traditional delights of a British seaside resort. We continue to the cathedral city of Chichester. This charming, compact city boasts some of the country’s oldest buildings and streets, including the cathedral church of the Holy Trinity, while the pedestrianised city centre is enclosed within the ancient city walls.

Back at the Warner village, we enjoy another fun-filled night of country music.

Day 4 – Portsmouth

We spend half a day in the bustling city of Portsmouth, Britain’s only island city thanks to its geographical location on Portsea Island. There is plenty to explore; its historic dockyard is home to Lord Nelson’s impressive HMS Victory while Gunwharf Quays is a rejuvenated area of retail outlets, bars and restaurants. Here you can climb the Spinnaker Tower for panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Tonight we enjoy our final evening of live country music – the artists will have you hollering yee-ha in no time!

Day 5

After breakfast, we check out and make our journey home.
