Included Excursions

Lancaster Canal Cruise & Lancaster (full day)

We enjoy a beautiful scenic cruise on the Lancaster Canal, which happens to be one of England’s only coastal canals. Packed with gorgeous natural scenery including views of the

Silverdale Coast and Wyre countryside, there is also plenty of impressive canal architecture to admire during our relaxing journey.

We also spend some free time in Lancaster where we can explore the city’s many shops and cafés, the secret paths of Williamson Park or the Edwardian butterfly house. The city is also home to many sites of historical significance including Lancaster Castle where the Pendle witch trials took place in 1612.

RHS Garden Bridgewater (full day)

This morning, we head to Salford for a private guided tour of the stunning RHS Garden Bridgewater, a carefully curated horticultural project on the former site of the Worsley New Hall. Spread across 154 acres, there’s no shortage of gardening delights to enjoy. These beautiful gardens offer a varied selection of agricultural themes to explore including a Kitchen Garden, a Chinese Streamside Garden and the Victoria Meadow which shines with the golden glow of the hay crop during harvest time and is a haven for local wildlife.

Optional Excursion

Liverpool – £10pp (full day)

From the impressive Liver Building to the renovated Albert Dock, our optional excursion gives us the chance to discover some of Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks. Explore some of the locations frequented by The Beatles such as the Cavern Club. Cilla Black also performed here while she was a cloakroom attendant and in 2017, a bronze statue of the late singer was unveiled outside the club in her honour.
